June 19 – Andrew was born in the family of the Russian diplomat Boris Eduardovich Bloom (1882, December 1 (2), probably Moscow – 1937, May 2, Easter Monday, Paris) and Ksenia Nikolaevna Scriabine, half-sister of the composer A.N. Scriabin (nee Janina, 1889 – London, 1958, April 11, Good Friday, London) in Lausanne.

The 1920s
In search of work Ksenia Nikolaevna was moving from country to country: Austria, France, Yugoslavia, then the family settled in Paris. In primary school he goes to school in Vienna, and then in the terrible quarter of the Parisian outskirts.
Probably at the end of 20s there was a talk by archpriest Sergius Bulgakov about Christ, who deeply angered Andrew and encouraged him to read the Gospel of St. Mark. And the Resurrected Christ appeared to him.
